The Memorial Hall needs you!
The Pamber Heath Memorial Hall Committee meets once a month to discuss fund raising events, finances, bookings, upkeep and anything else relating to the hall management. We also have working parties to attend to general housekeeping and upkeep of the hall roughly every two to three months.
It is interesting work and many hands make lighter work so if you have a skill or are interested in lending a hand or joining the committee please contact our chairman, Tony Middleton on 0118 9700 754 who will be pleased to give you more information.
What type of event would you like take place at our hall? We are always open to ideas so please come forward.

We have need of a relief cleaner for the hall to cover for holidays or sickness. If you can fill the gap please contact Tony Middleton on 0118 9700 754 to discuss.

If you have anything of interest about the Memorial Hall Activities or Village Life that you feel would be of interest to others please contact the Editor. There is sometimes a gap to fill and as long as it is not commercial we would consider insertion into this newsletter.

The Memorial Hall facelift has been completed with little disruption to regular hall users, well done the contractor. All the external doors have been replaced so we are now better protected and the fire exit doors are easier to use. We hope you will all notice the difference in our smarter hall so let us all try and keep it clean and damage free.
THEATRE EVENINGS for 2009
Sat 17th October 7.30 pm - Hoagy, Hornpipe, Handle & Hoedown Part Two
Featuring Simon Mayor & Hilary James
Simon is one of the world's leading mandolinists as well as a fine fiddle player, guitarist, composer and wit. His live performances are a riot of humour anecdotes and off-the-cuff wit alongside dazzling musicianship.
Hilary is best known for her fine singing but she also pounds the mighty mandobass. Her superb voice has featured everywhere from Classic FM to radio One covering traditional folk music to blues and swing.
Simon and Hilary last visted the Hall in February 2002, hence the "part two".
